Volunteer passes
Volunteers must be members of the Sunshine Coast Film Society. Volunteers can earn weekend passes as follows:
Volunteer at the event
> Front-of-House managers who volunteer for at least 4 shifts get a free weekend pass. F-of-H managers can choose to leave after the audience is seated.
> Ticketers who volunteer for at least 3 shifts, plus a brief training session, will get a free weekend pass. Ticketers can choose to leave after the audience is seated.
> Ushers who volunteer for at least 2 shifts will get a free weekend pass. Ushers must stay until after the audience has cleared the theatre.
> Front-of-House managers, ticketers, and ushers who volunteer for less than the above will get free admission to the events on the shifts they volunteer for.
> The projectionist assistants will get free admission to the events they volunteer for.
> Parking lot attendants will get free admission to the events they volunteer for.
Volunteer before the event
> People working at least 8 hours in preparing for the event will get a free weekend pass, e.g., volunteer co-ordinator, publicity staff, posterer, advertising and promotions staff, researchers, hospitality coordinators, and drivers. They can combine functions to reach the 8-hour minimum requirement, e.g., the posterer could also be a driver, publicity might also do promotions, a one-time usher might also do advertising.
